John Smith Jr.

John W. Smith Jr., 57, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Evergreen, Ala., died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010.

Mr. Smith was Baptist.

He is survived by his daughters, Wendy Griffin and Tanya Smith; brothers, Jerome, Herman, Willie, Ronnie (Shontae) and Carlos (Lavika) Smith; and sisters, Phyllis Williams, Mildred Smith and Cassandra Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Smith Sr., and Dorothy and Leroy Allen; four brothers, Roger, Joe and Henry Allen, and Kevin Williams; and one sister, Priscilla Green.

He is buried at Halfway Cemetery.
