John Whitney Thibodaux, 82, a native and resident of Choctaw, LA., died Sunday, April 15, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. James Catholic Chapel. A mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Elise Benoit Thibodaux; five daughters, Judy Adams, Sandra Ricouard, Kathy Thibodaux, Joan Peltier and Phyllis Cortez; 12 grandchildren, Corey, Ken, Chermaine, T-Boo, Christie, Lorena, Crissy, T-Darrel, Dawn, Whitney, Solange and Kysha; and 10 great-grandchildren, Skyler, Christian, Patience, Gracie, Nicholas, Dayton, Cole, Ciera, Promise and Alexis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Idelle Thibodaux; three brothers, Whitney, J.D. and Adam Thibodaux; and two sisters, Tina Ordoyne and Verine Sanchez.
Thibodaux Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
