Tillman talks Terrebonne, reflects on vital three terms

John Wayne Bergeron Sr., 63, a resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011.
Mr. Bergeron was a loving and devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed the outdoors and sports, especially when played by his grandchildren. He was the foundation of morals, strength and love for his family and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his children, Melissa (Ty) Whatley, Angela Antill, John Jr. (Stephanie), Chad (Nicole) and Christopher (Lisa) Bergeron; sisters, Juanita Lajaune, Reba Burnet, Claire Hatch, Robin Garnet and MaryBeth Flemings; brothers, Dwight, Perry and Ronald Bergeron; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling Sr. and Rosemary Bergeron; and brothers, Sterling Jr., Gene and Leland Bergeron.
Burial was at Bayou Black Cemetery. (Chauvin)
