Johnny J. Arceneaux, 88, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Wednesday, April 29, at 12:30 p.m.

He is survived by his son, Michael “Bon” Arceneaux; and three grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Arceneaux; parents, Dave and Letitia Parr Arceneaux; daughter, Carolyn Arceneaux; brothers, Louis, Nacy, Ozomea, Alvin and Wallace Arceneaux; and sister, Essie LeBouef.

He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, at Holy Savior Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
