Joseph Carl Schmolke Jr., 66, a native of Crown Point, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, August 28, at 1:18 a.m.
He survived by his wife, Carolyn Bonvillain Schmolke; step-son, James Sheridan and wife Laura; step-daughter, Jody Milligan and husband Richard; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. Sr. and Daisy Burt Schmolke; and one son.
No services are scheduled.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
