Joseph E. Sylvest, 68, a native of Bassfield, Miss., and resident of Thibodaux, La., Sunday, May 20, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Sylvest; children, Debra Kruger, Todd Sylvest, Penny Melancon and Clay Lambert; brother, Kenny Sylvest; sister, Yvonne Kerley; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Nannie Sylvest; brothers, Francis and Donald Sylvest; and sister, Marie Harris.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
