Feinberg promises improvement for claimants

Joseph Livas Jr., 61, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, following a lengthy battle with lung cancer.
Mr. Livas was a longtime employee within the Petroleum Industry. He was a faithful member of the New Orleans Black Chorale since 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Faye Livas; children, Jason (Tyisha) and Simone Livas; siblings, Joann (Leroy) Ellis, and James, Larry (Linda) and Terrence (Fay) Livas; and a host of other close relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Ruth Izanna Brown Livas; and one sister, Lorraine Livas Johnson.
He is interred at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna, La.
