Josephine Ann Aucoin

Josephine “Beachie” Aucoin, 72, a resident of Stephensville, La., died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011.

Mrs. Aucoin enjoyed cooking, especially for family gatherings, fishing, hunting for antique bottles and arts and crafts. Her husband and family were her life.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Lloyd Aucoin; sons, Martin Jr. and Ronald Sr. (Sherie) Giroir; daughters, Debra (Metz) Vidos, Tammy (James) Aucoin and Laurie (Robbie) Percle; brothers, Gary and Walter Businelle, Eugene Grant and Kim Richard; sisters, Brenda Comeax, Dardinella Breaux and Theresa and Mable Businelle; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Mary Businelle; stepfather Joseph Richard Sr.; stepmother, Florence Businelle; daughter, Kathy Giroir; grandson, Lloyd Vidos; sisters, Lily Businelle, Sharon Hiles and JoAnn Blanchard; and brothers, Douglas Sr., Ward Jr. and James Businelle and Joseph Jr. and Samuel Richard.

Burial will be at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
