Josephine Gautreaux Fonseca, 84, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010.
Ms. Fonseca was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church who loved to work in the garden with her flowers. She loved her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Everyone who knew her loved her and she will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Tania), Robert (Gayle), Larry (Loraine) and Eric (Connie) Fonseca; and daughter, Cathy (Lenny) Authement.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept 18, at Chauvin Funeral Home with funeral services to follow Saturday. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
