Josephine “JoJo” Marie Martin Stoufflet, 93, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Bourg, La., died at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, October 8.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty S. Hebert and husband Huey Hebert Sr. of Houma, La.; one brother, Earl Chauvin of Chauvin; four sisters, Ola Crochet of Houma, Lois Crochet of Chauvin, Reta Ledet of Houma and Elfie Savoie of Larose, La.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon James Stoufflet Sr.; her parents, Alfred Martin and Minnie LeBlanc Martin; two sons, Weldon Stoufflet Jr. and Melvin Anthony “Tony” Stoufflet; two daughters, Cheri Lynn Guidry and Lana Mary Stoufflet; one grandson, Huey Hebert Jr.; and one brother, Lindsey Chauvin.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She was buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
