Josephine Marie Deroche Mills Schouest, 80, a native of Bourg, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:17 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Schouest; sons, Russell “Rusty” (Maria), Eric and Douglas “Doug” Mills; daughter, Linda Fenger; brothers, Norman and Whitney Deroche; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William A. Mills III; parents, Albert and Lucina Matherne Deroche; and three sisters, Leonise Boudreaux, Stella Hutchinson and Mildred Theriot.
She is buried at Rogers Cemetery. (Samart)
