July 1, 2011Joy Katherine Dillard, 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, June 29, 2011.
Ms. Dillard was a school teacher for the Terrebonne Parish School Board and many places abroad.
She is survived by her sister, Bobbie Aucoin; and 11 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Ezelle Dillard; brothers, Lee, Henry and Warren Dillard; and sister, Ezelle Dillard.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. (Chauvin)
