Joy Marie Theriot, 79, a native and resident of Houma, died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2007.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by one brother, Bruce Theriot and wife, Florence Domangue Theriot; and one sister-in-law, Alma LeBoeuf Theriot.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ned Joseph Theriot and Marguerite Bergeron Theriot; two brothers, Norman Theriot and Ned Theriot Jr.; one sister, Dorothy Theriot Sigur; and four nephews, Michael Sigur, Rene Theriot, Kenneth Theriot and Steve Theriot.
She was a retired banker and a retired health aide coordinator.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
