Joyce Ann Johnson, 53, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012.
Ms. Johnson was Baptist and a homemaker.
She is survived by her companion, Newell Solet; son, Gilbert Parker III; brothers, Louis (Barbara) Trahan, Carl (Geraldine) Celestine and David Jr. (Pamela) Johnson; and sisters, Rosa (Clarence Sr.) Johnson and Carrie Scoby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Sr. and Cora Johnson; and grandparents, Irvin and Julia Johnson.
Burial was at Southdown Cemetery. (Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne)
