Joyce Marie LeBlanc DeHart, age 82, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 5:50 pm. She was a native and resident of Chauvin.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Danny J. LeBlanc, Brian P. LeBlanc and wife, Rebecca, Randy J. LeBlanc and wife, Pat, Kevin J. LeBlanc and wife, Donna, and Craig A. LeBlanc and fiancé’, Shelley; stepchildren, Sullivan “Champ” DeHart, and Dottie Wakeland; brothers, Darry “Duck” LeBlanc, Eugene LeBlanc and wife, Esmeralda, and Dale LeBlanc; sisters, Shirley Guy, Eunice “Sis” Cangelosi and husband, Nick, Carolyn Trosclair and husband, Benny, and Sandra Hutchinson and husband, Kevin; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked as a cook for Terrebonne Parish School Board for 21 years and Rouse’s Supermarket for 8 years. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
