August 31, 2011Joyce Joffrion Goodwin, 84, a native of Grosse Tete, La., and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011.
Mrs. Goodwin was retired from the Ascension Parish Library.
She is survived by her sons, William Jr. and James Goodwin; sister, Florence Chauffe; brother, A. C. Joffrion; grandchildren William III, Ryan, Kurt, John and James Woodwin and Kay Zaccari; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Goodwin Sr.; parents, A. C. Joffrion Sr. and Telcide LeBlanc; and sister, Jacqueline D’Antonio.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 p.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church. Interment will be at Protestant Cemetery.
