Joyce Louque Olivier, 68, a native of Hester and a resident of Metairie, La., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Marc Olivier Jr.; one son, Marc Olivier III and wife, Alicia; five grandchildren, Brittany, David and Daniel Olivier, Kevin Powers and Blake Ziegler; and nine siblings, Ferdinand (Knox) Louque, Marguerite (Git) Roussel, Raymond (Pieyas) Louque, Louisa (Gal) Troxclair, Melvin (Cacoon) Louque, Melodia (Mickey) Ory, Robert (Bobby) Louque, Eula Mae (Mitsy) Louque, and Elizabeth (Betty) Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred J. Louque Sr. and Melodia Roussel Louque; four brothers, Whitley (Whit) Louque, Hubert (Karot) Louque, Hilton (Buck) Louque and Alfred (Peck) Louque.
Burial will be at a later date.
Rose Lynn Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.
