Judith C. “Maw Maw” Pitre, 91, a resident of Galliano, La., died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014.
Mrs. Pitre dedicated her life to serving Jesus and those around her.
She is survived by her sons, Noble (Joyce), Jackie (Liz) and Tab (Yvette) Pitre; daughter, Bonnie Mixon; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Pitre Jr.; parents, Ernest and Vina Cantrelle; son, Gus Pitre; brothers, Percy and Henry Cantrelle; sisters, Mozanna and Viola Gisclair, Angelle Crosby and Alida Hebert; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Family Christian Center with services to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. (Samart-Mothe)
