Judith “Judy” Myra Aucoin Lirette, 71, a native of Bourg, La., and a resident of Jena, La., died Sunday, May 25.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Lirette Sr. of Jena; sons, Ralph Lirette Sr. and wife, Debra, of Jena, and Eric Lirette and wife, Nicole, of Houma, La.; daughter, Vera Lirette of Ball; brothers, Barry Aucoin of Bourg, La., and Roy Aucoin Jr. of Houma; sister, Linda Kay Hutchinson of Houma; grandchildren, Brandy, Ralph Jr., Melynda, Marci, Chris, Daisey, Billy and Donnie; and great-grandchildren, Catalina, Branden, Christopher, Elizabeth and Nicholas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Aucoin and Louella LeCompte Aucoin; son, Donald Lirette Jr.; and brother, Jerry Aucoin.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, at St. Ann Community Center. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
