Judy Dale Cormier Lewis, 52, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 19.


She is survived by her devoted companion, Raymond Thibodaux of Houma; one son, Jason Savoie of Emerson, Ark.; one daughter, Jessica Savoie of Kenner, La.; two brothers, Mark Cormier and wife Langie of Alabama, and Eddie Joe Cormier and wife Chris of Houma; two sisters, Connie Cormier Hebert and husband Chuck of Houma, and Cindy Cormier Dale of Covington, La.; and two grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond Cormier and Beatrice Crader Cormier; one sister, Katherine Verdin; and grandparents, Rose and Joe Crader.

She was a member of Temple of Praise in Houma and a retired nurse.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Temple of Praise. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the church with burial at Southdown Cemetery.

Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
