Julia Lirette Champagne, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA. and resident of Houma, LA., died at 3:20 a.m. Saturday April 14, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Falgout Funeral Home. Religious service is at Falgout Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Monday, followed by burial at St. Eloi Cemetery in Theriot.
She is survived by one son, Raymond Bourg; one sister, Magdeline “Mag” Soignet; and one grandchild, Pilar Bourg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eusebe Walton Champagne; her parents, Willie Joseph Lirette and Melinda Ella DeHart Lirette; eight brothers, Jack, Wilvin, Johnny, Edison, Albert, Robert Andrew and Jesse Lirette; and one sister, Angeline Daisy.
Falgout Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
