Julia Lee Naquin, 81, a native of Venice, La., and a resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Sunday, February 3, 2008.


She is survived by her sons, Kenneth A. Naquin and wife, Judy, and Perry J. Naquin and wife, Penny; daughters, Sheila N. Ledet, Marilyn N. Thibodeaux and husband, Troy, and Tammy A. Naquin; sisters, Norma Billiot, Dora Mae Rebstock and Louverda Bourgeois; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore A. Naquin; parents, Hennesy Lee Sr. and Philonese Crosby Lee; son-in-law, Irwin Ledet; brothers, Norman, Hennessy Jr. and Paul Lee; and sisters, Julie Lee, Lovenia Bourgeois, Virginia Arceneaux, Clovisa Guidry and Eveloia Matherne.

Julia was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 06, 2008, and 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., with mass to follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. She will be buried in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
