Karen Ann Wilson, 56, a native of Mathews, La., and a resident of Harvey, La., died Tuesday, April 7, at 5:42 a.m.


She is survived by her daughter, Regina Wilson of Harvey; son, Tarrence Wilson of Harvey; sisters, Rose Smith of Raceland, La., and Thelma LeBeau of Long Beach, Ca.; brother, Clarence Wilson Jr. of Hammond, La.; and two grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Sr. and Lucille Wilson; brother, Mack P. Wilson; and sisters, Ella Mae Britton, Carolyn Scott and Shirley Jenkins.

She was Baptist. Her hobbies included crocheting.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at New St. Mathews Missionary Baptist Church in Mathews with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
