Karen B. Prosperie, 57, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Sept. 26.
She is survived by her husband, Myron Prosperie; one son, Troy Prosperie and wife Charlie; three daughters, Tammy Lynn Prosperie, Dodie Lodrigue and husband Kerry, and Yolonda Fields and husband Craig; four brothers, Anthony Jr., Patrick, Brian and Randy Boudreaux; one step-brother, Carroll Bourgeois; one sister, Ann Dupre; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Boudreaux Sr. and Nora L. Boudreaux; one son, Myron Prosperie Jr.; one brother, Clark Boudreaux; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A religious service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
