Karen Lua “LuLu” Whitney Marcum, 68, a native and recent resident of Prairieville, La., died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Marcum; daughter, Kelly Burnett Muniz; sons, Darin and Ricky Burnett; stepsons, Tim and Tyler Marcum; sister, Mary Beth Whitney Tate; brother, Leo Whitney Jr.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Whitney Sr.; mother, Marianne Bueche Whitney; and one brother, David Whitney.
