Karl Ronan Blanchard, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 surrounded by his family and friends. He was a longtime resident of Houma, LA.
Karl is survived by his brothers, Victor Blanchard and wife Ruby, Houston Tx, Rodney Blanchard and wife Connie, Pheonix, Az; sister, Jana DeCol and fiance’, Enos Vito, Houma, La; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Karl was a loving and kind man who loved his family dearly. Although Karl was deaf, his presence radiated in a household and now will always be silent without him. Karl enjoyed his time with his late wife Janice. They enjoyed crafts, shopping, and spending time with their friends. They had a blessed marriage for fifteen years. Karl loved cats but most of all he thoroughly enjoyed Dallas Cowboys.
Jana would like to thank her work family at American Cash Advance for their love, support, encouragement, and caring words. She would like to thank Journey Hospice especially Amie Chauvin and Courtney Lee for their care and medical expertise. Amie and Courtney were a true blessing to the family. They will always have a place at the Blanchard family table.
