Katie Macalusa Dufrene, 66, a resident of Boutte, La., died Friday, January 16.
She is survived by her four sons, Randy, Glenn, Darren and Todd Dufrene; two daughters, Wanda Rose and Debbie Breaux; one brother Michael Macalusa; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Lorena Macalusa; and one grandchild.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for burial expenses.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, La., with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, La.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
