Kenneth James Morrison, 61, a native New Orleans, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
Mr. Morrison was a very loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a very dedicated provider for his family all his life and a very successful business man who worked the same business from the time he left the U.S. Coast Guard up in till just recently when he became very ill.
He is survived by his wife, Windy Morrison; daughters: Gabriella, Amy and Amanda Morrison, Judon Shermon and Tasha (Nathan) Montet; eight grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and mother, Grace Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Morrison and Dorothy Nyberg; and brothers, Benue and Johnny Morrison.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 11 at Twin City Funeral Home with a service beginning at 8 p.m. The East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad will perform full military honors. (Twin City)
