Kenneth Louis Porche, 65, a native and resident of Houma, La., died of leukemia at 9:49 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016.
A Mass of Christian Burial begins today at 11 a.m. at Annuziata Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Mr. Porche was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He was an avid Saints fan, loved fishing, the outdoors and working in the yard. A 1969 graduate of Terrebonne High School, he worked at Porche Tire & Muffler.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Champagne Porche; sons, Lloyd (Rebecca) and John Porche; daughter, Chalayne (Kevin) Dies; stepchildren, John (Christina) Price II and Christy (Doug) Verrett; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; brothers, Ricky (David Jumonville) Porche; sisters, Peggy (Rene) Bergeron, Gale Pellegrin and Denise (Andrew) Stewart.
