Kristy Gisclair Bruce, 34, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Friday, October 10, at 6 a.m.
She is survived by her parents, John and Mary Curole Gisclair; son, Connor Anthony Orgeron; brother, John “Buster” Gisclair Jr. and wife Jaynel; grandmother, Anna C. Curole; and niece and godchild, Hannah Mary Gisclair.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Felix N. Curole, Domonick Gisclair and Artilize Gisclair.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 259 and was a teacher at Holy Savior Catholic School. She enjoyed reading, shopping and going to the movies. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
She was buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
