Laban Anthony Robichaux Sr., 84, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died Thursday, May 26, 2011.
Mr. Robichaux was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was retired from Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government.
He is survived by his sons, Ronnie (Brenda Verret), Kirk (Janet) and Laban Jr. Robichaux; daughters, Jeanne (Dave) Dupre, Veronica (James) McLemore and Susette Vetter; sisters, Ethel Pekinto, Betty Robichaux, Shirley Pittman and Mary Jane Esteve; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Robichaux; parents, Magnus and Jeanne Robichaux; brothers, Elward and Magnus Robichaux; and sister, Jeanette Holden.
He is buried at St. Elie Cemetery. (Chauvin)
