Laban T. “Black” Bergeron, 62, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at 11:35 p.m.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in Houma.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine N. Bergeron of Houma, La.; his mother, Odessa L. Bergeron; one son, Allen D. Bergeron; four daughters, Gina, Shanna, Brandi, and Catherine; three brothers, Irby, Michael, and Chris; two sisters, Delores, and Charlene; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert C. Bergeron.
Mr. Bergeron was retired and also served in the Army National Guard.
Donations are being accepted by the family to help with funeral costs.
