Lanny Ross Martin Sr., 70, a native of Oil City, La., and resident of Bayou Vista, La., died at 9:16 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2011.
Mr. Martin was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was also an avid fisherman. He will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Penny Martin; sons, Ramus (Michelle) and Lanny Jr. Martin; daughters, Eppie (Marvin) Broussard and Monica Martin; sisters, Loula (Leonard) Buteaux and Katherine (Ken) Buckner; 15 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Elda Martin; brother, Tony Martin; and sisters, Ronnie Deshotel and Mable Romero.
Interment was at Ibert’s Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. (Ibert’s)
