Larry Moore Sr.

Larry “Turtle” “Hock” Moore Sr., 59, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010.

Mr. Moore was a member of Tabernacle of Love Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his parents, Isaac and Flora Moore; daughters, Tiffany (Justin), Belinda (Cornell) and Christi Moore; sons, Larry Jr. (Natasha), Anthony (Deshannon), Carlos, Robert (Yolanda) and Jamar Moore; brothers, Thomas (Carolyn), Oscar, Bobby (Cheryl), Christopher, Archie, Kirby (Debra), Timothy (Natalie) and Marvin (Gwendolyn) Moore; sisters Elizabeth Moore and Maria (Edward) Richardson; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hill Moore; and brother, Willie Moore.

He is buried at Livas Cemetery on Johnson Ridge.
