March 2, 2010Laura Mae Cheramie, 56, a native of Grand Isle, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010.
She is survived by her companion, Kelly T. Isenburg; father, Harvey J. Cheramie; daughter, Katina Samanie and companion, Michael Summers; brothers, Harry Sr., Harvey Jr. and Billy Cheramie; and sisters, Rosemary Vegas, Darlene Cheramie, Linda Matherne and Susan McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vernice F. Cheramie; brothers, Michael and Steven Cheramie; and sister, Lori Ann Cheramie Breaux.
Ms. Cheramie is buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
