Laura Marie Bonvillain Daigle, 61, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Gray, La., died Monday, March 2, at 8:09 a.m.


She is survived by her husband, James D. Daigle of Gray; son, Daniel James Daigle of Gray; daughter, Ada Marie Babin of Gray; brother, Harold Bonvillain of Gray; sisters, Betty Oliver of Houma, Carol Blanchard of Houma and Ruth Scurto of Houma; and grandchild, Carissa Babin.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Burdy Bonvillain and Mabel Bergeron Bonvillain; brothers, John Bonvillain, George Bonvillain and Ray Bonvillain; and grandchild, Devin Michael Babin.

She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Four Squares Church.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow Wednesday. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
