Lawrence Anthony (Larry) Champagne, 77, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Bayou Dularge, La., died Thursday, August 28, at 10 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Lodrigue Champagne; and daughter, Stacey Champagne Price and husband Jason Price.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Onecca (Nick) and Marie Champagne; and brother, Alcee Champagne.
He was a bridge tender at the Falgout Canal Bridge for over 27 years. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
He was buried at St. Eloi Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
