Lawrence “Brother Dale” Savoy, 61, a native of Opelousas, La., and a resident of Labadieville, La., died at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 25.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Andras Savoy; four sons, Kirt, Dayne, James and Lane Savoy; one daughter, Melissa Dillon; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Savoy and Eva Marie Faul Savoy; and one sister, Janice Blanchard.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday, June 28, at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial St. Anne Cemetery in Napoleonville, La.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
