Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Lawrence Hamilton, 66, a resident of Patterson, La., died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in New Orleans, La.
He is survived by his wife, Rutha M. Hamilton of Patterson, La.; sons, Ellis of Morgan City, Peter of Richmond, Va., and Eric Gaskins of Berwick; daughters, Paulette Lewis of Patterson, Tina Ross of San Antonio, Diana Gaskins of Tallahassee, Fla., Thais Johnson of Conyer, Ga., Tonya O’Prien of Snellville, Ga., and Tremaine Tweh of Deluth, Ga.; sister, Lisa Dorsey of Des Allemands; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, March 8, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Morgan City. The Rev. Ron Bias will officiate.
Mr. Hamilton will be buried at Patterson Memorial Cemetery.
