Lawrence “Kotchie” “Plummer” Tillman, 64, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, June 25.


He is survived by three sisters, Lena Bradley, Bernette Holmes and Vivian Tillman, all of Raceland; and five brothers, Leonard Tillman and Ernest Coleman Sr. of Raceland, Paul Johnson, Harry Johnson and Corey Johnson of Thibodaux, La.


He was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Vivian Tillman; one brother, William Tillman Jr.; two sisters, Jacqueline Francis Lambert and Ernestine Jones; and his grandparents, Samuel and Jessie Jones, Johnny Tillman and Lena Bush Waller.

He was Baptist.

Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland, with burial at the church cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
