Lawrence “Reb” Arcenaux Sr., 62, a native of Terrebonne, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, July 27, at 8 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Arcenaux of Houma; two sons, Lawrence and Michelle Arcenaux Jr. of Houma, and Brian and Tammy Arcenaux of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Harold Paul Arcenaux and Alvin Arcenaux, both of Houma; four sisters, Evelyn and Peter Taplett Sr., Vera and George Singleton, Joyce Ann Arcenaux, all of Houma, and Myrtle Thomas, of New Orleans, La.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Viola Ringold and Paul Arcenaux.
He attended First Corinthian Baptist Church. He was employed by the Terrebonne Parish School Board.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 31, at First Corinthian Baptist Church. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 1, at First Corinthian Baptist Church with burial at Southdown Cemetery.
Gertrude-Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
