Leander J. Troxler

Leander J. Troxler, 80, a native and resident of Hahnville, La., died Sunday, September 21.

He is survived by six sons, Kim Lee, Kip, Biff, Depp, Judd and Todd Troxler; three daughters, Quincee Berthelot, Lyddie Gassen and Calli Madere; one brother, Leonard Troxler; two sisters, Elva Donnaud and Rhetta Champagne; and 18 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Bergeron Troxler; his parents, Myrtle Joseph Troxler and Maria Ella Bourgeois Troxler; two brothers, Merlin and Clifford Troxler; and one sister, Hilda Brown.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville with mass to follow. He will be buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Taft, La.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
