Leffery Patrick Trahan, 77, a native of Grand Caillou, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
He is survived by his sons, Hardy (Sandra) Trahan and Jessie (Brenda) Hebert; daughters, Veronica (Elton) Parfait, Mary (Joseph) Manzella, Carolyn (Jerry) Walker, Marilyn (Billy) Jarreah, Monica Boudreaux and Veronica (Joseph) Billiot; brother, Joseph Trahan; sisters, Vernell Dion, Effie Parfait and Enid Daisy; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Trahan; parents, Adam and Beulah Trahan; son, Leffery Trahan; daughters, Vanessa and Rose Trahan; brothers, Linus and Minor Trahan; and sisters, Mable Lirette, Lorina Marcel, Eula Mae Verret and Mary Jane Naquin.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 15, and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, at Samart Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery. (Samart)
