Leland John Henry

Leland John Henry, 83, a long time resident of Morgan City, La., and current resident of Belle River, La., died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011.

Mr. Henry was a faithful member of Holy Cross Parish where he served on the parish council, finance committee and was a member of the Holy Cross Choir. He was a lifetime member of the 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus and was co-owner of MC Machine Works for 30 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Roger) Arceneaux; grandson, John (Danielle) Arceneaux; and great-grandchildren, Katie and Jesse Arceneaux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Henry; parents, Leonie and Agnes Henry; grandson, Marcus Arceneaux; and brother, Robert Henry.

Interment was at Morgan City Mausoleum. (Hargrave)
