Leland Joseph Neil Sr., 65, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and a resident of Bourg, La., died Friday, July 24.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Dupre Neil; one son, Leland Neil Jr. and wife Sandi; two daughters, Jenny Ledet and husband Randy, and Angelle Bonham and husband Scotty; one brother, Earl P. Neil Sr.; and six grandchildren, Jordy Ledet, Alex, Landon and Ian Neil, and Ethan and Morgan Bonham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira J. and Nolia Levron Neil; and one brother, Perry C. Neil Sr.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, July 27, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church Parish Center in Bourg with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
