Lema “T-Mac” Pierre Robichaux, 86, a native of Mathews, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, March 16.


He is survived by his son, Glenn J. Robichaux and wife Sharon; daughters, Elaine R. Comeaux, JoEtta R. Dufrene and Marlene R. Vial and husband Dale; twin brother, Earl Robichaux; sisters, Bessie Walker and Gertrude Eschette; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Della L. Robichaux; parents, Ormogene and Alice R. Robichaux; son-in-law, Gary Dufrene; brothers, Clarence, Joseph, Octave and Freddie Robichaux; sisters, Stella Babin, Ella Martin, Marie Orgeron, Una Granier, Lucille Granier, Rita Bourgeois and Gladys Hotary; and two grandchildren.

He was a former Raceland Volunteer Fireman and retired from Georgia Sugars.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19 at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews, with a memorial service to follow. He will be buried at Resurrection Memorial Park in Mathews.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
