Len “J.J.” Lodrigue, Sr., 44, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, July 30, 2007.


He is survived by his three sons, Bradley, Donald, and Len Lodrigue, Jr.; one daughter, Candy Nelton; six brothers, Anthony, Joe, John, Sidney, Howard, and Morris Lodrigue; eleven sisters, Barbara, Mary, Phylis, Margaret, Joann, Gloria, Margie, Viola, Linda, Brenda, and Lena Lodrigue; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antoine “Popeye” and Florestine “Gott” Gregorie Lodrigue; one brother, Phillip Lodrigue; and one sister, Ida Lodrigue.

Visitation is Wednesday, August 1, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 2, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. He will be buried at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
