Lena Mae Phillips Garrison, 74, a native and resident of Berwick, La. died Friday, February 08, 2008.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Frances and husband Willard of Berwick, Connie Granger and husband Don of New Orleans, La., Diana Gray and husband Ronald of Patterson, La., Patricia Clark and husband, Clarence of Amelia, La., Catherine Garrison of Berwick, Brenda Harris and husband Phillip Sr., of Thibodaux, La., Edwina Johnson and husband Micheal, Vernessa Garrison, Cheryl Johnson and husband Melvin of Berwick, and Wilda Every and husband Russell of Schriever, La.; stepsister, Shirley Lasalle of Cameron, La.; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Garrison; parents, Margaret and George Phillips; and sisters, Betty L. Phillips and Doris P. Chenevert.
Lena was a member of Mason United Methodist Church in Berwick. Her hobbies included cooking, shopping, reading and spending time with family.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 at Mason United Methodist Church in Berwick and 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the church. The Wake and funeral service will be Friday, February 15, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at the church and the Dismissal Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, at the church with burial in the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
