Lennus “L.O.” Boudreaux, 87, a native of Assumption Parish and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Saturday, July 12.


He is survived by his wife, Irene H. Boudreaux; one son, L.J. Boudreaux and wife, Cecile; two daughters, Marlene Eisner and husband, Carl, and Winona Danos and husband, Lester Jr.; one brother, Lionel Boudreaux; one sister, Jane Bundy; nine grandchildren, Skie Gremillion, Len Boudreaux, Todd Boudreaux, Shane Boudreaux, Blake Boudreaux, David Babineaux, Debbie Robin, Theresa Thomassie and Adrian Danos; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Zoe Boudreaux; one son, Farold Boudreaux; six brothers, Lawrence, Lloyd, Sterling, Lesie and Lenez Guy Boudreaux and infant Boudreaux; and two sisters, Esther Juneau and Enez Carrie May Molaison.

He was a retired employee of Texaco for 33 years and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with mass to follow. He will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, La.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
