Leola D. Rousse, 64, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Thursday, June 11.
She is survived by her son, Steven Anthony Rousse and companion Micky; daughters, Tammy “T.T.” Marie Primeaux and husband Louis, Cally Ann Webre and companion Stephen, and Angelique “Angel” Williams and husband James; step-daughter, Michelle Thomassie and husband Garrett; sisters, Gloria Griffin, Hazel Blair, Anita Hebert and Bella Orgeron; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her companion, Jeffery Guilbeau Jr.; parents, Wilkerson Sr. and Evelia Cheramie Duplantis; grandson, Willy P. Guidroz Jr.; and brothers, Moise Vegas, John Vegas, William Vegas, Santo Duplantis and Wilkerson Duplantis Jr.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 15, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church with burial at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
